The Cobb Test is used to determine the water absorptivity of paper and corrugated board. It measures the ability of the test specimen to resist the penetration of water in a specific time.
This method is commonly used for boxes with wax coating. Most of the customer products that uses wax coated boxes are frozen goods. The coating helps slowdown the deteriorating effect of the moisture from load and environment to box’s strength.
